Be a Doer Not Just a Listener

I have been reading the book of James from the Bible and in James 1:22 it says:

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

This caught my attention as ALL of us have God given talent. Whether that is fixing things, writing things, smiling or making people laugh, we all have a talent. The question is what are we doing with that talent?

  • Are we using that talent to make our world a better place?
  • Are we helping others with our talent?

As an Encouragement Engineer I encourage others to see a Positive Perspective. That means that as I encounter those that may look like they have been weened with a pickle/ Having what appears to be a bad time, I can offer some encouragement.  Sometimes these actions allow you to be a bit bold and that can be a great thing. It does not change the situation, but it can change a negative attitude to a positive perspective attitude and help that person get through the situation and improve their day. Then they can be positive to someone else and encourage a smile or guidance to others. These acts help to make our world a better place.

  • What is your God given talent?
  • Are you being a doer and showing that talent to others in some way?
  • Are you being a doer?

How Can I Help You?
