I have been building my value through personal growth again. If you have not heard of this book, I highly recommend it. If you are looking for clear definition of your business, I recommend this. Do you think I like this book?
Start with Why offers insight as to why large companies succeed in industry as well as guides you through the process to find out Why for yourself if that is what you are looking for. The book gives example of why Apple has been so successful focusing on why they do what they do, not on what the do. How Starbucks growth has been attributed to why they are in the industry, for the experience, not just making coffee. Why Walmart did so well while Sam Walton was still alive and how the true leaders of these type of organizations kept “the why” alive for the great growth these companies have had.
From reading this book I was able to formulate my Why:
To Combat the negative views and beliefs that inundate our lives with Positive Encouragement for individuals and groups so that the Positive value of personal growth and Positive actions change our world.
If you want to find/discover your Why, I recommend this book. Reading the book is the easy part, coming up with your why a little harder. But living your why is the real challenge.
