Read and Re-Read

Yesterday I was asked about something I read from a book, Strength Finders by Tom Rath. Although I didn’t remember what my strengths were from reading the book, it did spark me to go back and review my strengths.

I was thinking more this morning about this scenario. How many of us read a book, perhaps a GREAT book to then put it on the shelf?  Do you ever re-read you GREAT books?  This questions inspired me to go back a re-read a GREAT book. If we have these “Great” resources at our finger tips are we using them?

If you haven’t read Strength Finders I highly recommend it. This book offers good insights as to what your personal strengths are and guides you with suggestions to develop your personal strengths. My strengths are:

People who are especially talented in the Futuristic theme are inspired by the future and what

could be. They inspire others with their visions of the future.

People who are especially talented in the Arranger theme can organize, but they also have a

flexibility that complements this ability. They like to figure out how all of the pieces and

resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.

People who are especially talented in the Focus theme can take a direction, follow through,

and make the corrections necessary to stay on track. They prioritize, then act.

People who are especially talented in the Achiever theme have a great deal of stamina and

work hard. They take great satisfaction from being busy and productive.

People who are especially talented in the Positivity theme have an enthusiasm that is

contagious. They are upbeat and can get others excited about what they are going to do.

How Can I Help You find your Strengths?
